Tutorial (step by step) How to flash LG KP500 - cookie

all works ok, thanks, but its the same firmware as was on the phone originally!! I just can't get on with this phone and was hoping different firmware may have helped, and ideas anyone? PS those whos phones stuck on port1 connecting, just click on a few buttons on phone, worked for me

and how to flash this or where to put this file for flashing.
because after flashing my KP500 is ON but after every power on its asking for screen calibration
and camera loading .


please explain how to solve this problem.

Thats what mine was doing ,till about 10 mins ago ,,installed the usb drivers and it flashed no problem on xp..

staines you are obviously not installing the right usb drivers or try deleting what you have and starting again.
Just a thought use the usb ports on the back of pc not the ones at the front as i did have trouble with pc recognising the phone ,until i tried the back usb port,,

big thanks for this soft it s really great
for who has probleme with usb map that not reconized port juste run it and then connect the phone . and same for nothing after running soft juste disconnect and connecte phgone and that will be ok
 
using this flash does it then enable me to unlock newer versions of kp500 once flashed??? anyone know, if not will test tommorow.

I have a problem with step 5. I started the USB program, but the program don't regonize my phone. I have a LG KP500 Cookie. So why can't the program see my phone? I have connected it without SIM card, Battery and Memory Card and my PC saw it, but the USB program can't see the phone. What's the problem?
 
hi to all...maybe someone can help me. I got stuck at steps .4) and .5) when i connect my phone to the pc windows recognises it as Flash Loader Utility and I installed it like that. But then when i need to mab the usb with USBMap it cannot manage to find it. I connect the phone, it is installed and recognized, then when I click on "start mapping" nothing happens...it stays still and no outputs comes out...
what should it be?
 
No commants the soft is working perfectly tested on many kp500.

it works perfekt..thank you brother for this big schare!!!!! for ppl hoe's guetting wait for connection..puch stop to programm..don't close the programm totaly.then uit usb from your computer...puch start again...then connect your usb to the computer...it wil works if every think is good installed first..
 
Check and cleans usb cable/phone connectors for sality or use another usb port. also ensure u are using usb port on pc and not a usb hub.

I have kp502, and I following gudie, but when i have runed usb_map the program finding usb is too long. I installed usb drivers. Sory because my bad english, i'm from Croatia

and one problem appers : when i start gsm multi, i press start then conecct the phone, but i recive message comport open error.
 
I forgot to mention that I am trying to flash KP-570Q that was originally locked to TelCel (Mexico) and unlocked by Vygis (the to complete the unlock, I have to flash the phone)
