Im going to try it as its got Christian Cooke in but seeing as its on right now, I'll probs be watching the repeat.

The first episode was alright but it never left me wanting more so I haven't found the energy to watch Episode 1 and 2

You get this with Welsh actors sometimes. They (rather smugly) think they have only a faint undetectable Welsh accent - which is of course blatantly obvious to an English person!
They ham up their Welsh accent so that it's totally OTT. Elen does this imo.

Playing devil's advocate a little, you could say putting a new show on ITV2 is a sign of little faith. ITV2 has far lower viewers than ITV1 which most likely means less advertising revenue. I saw a bit of Trinity last night, it was repeated on ITV2, it looks a bit cheesy and Charles Dance must be desperate for work to be in this! He started his career at the Royal Shakespeare Company. "I'm a trained Shakespearian actor, you know, I don't do shows like this unless the cheque is worth it!"

Regarding high profile actors doing dodgy work, I saw the actor who used to play a bent cop on The Bill and he also appeared in Eastenders doing a car insurance advert. From two big tv soaps to a car advert. He needs a new agent!

It's a bad time for ITV to be making new tv shows. I read this over on the Sun website:



If Trinity doesn't get decent rating it won't get a second series (assuming it's planned as a multi-series show).

I have to say I thought this was amazingly awful!

After about 6 minutes I was ready to switch over, but I stuck with it and although it didn't improve AT ALL I am now hooked!

I'd take Reggie over Christian any day of the week though!

I'm getting drawn into the mystery now and I quite enjoyed the ep last night.

It's mostly a load of indulgent pish of course, but it's fun to watch... and there is a bit of suspense and mystery, which is always good in drama.

Excellent. A very good reason to capture the raw MPEG2 transport stream and save the frame captures at the highest possible resolution for later viewing. CC's a real trooper isn't he.
