The longer I watched it the more I realised this would be quite good if it had a decent script. I thought the acting was ok, and the basic plotline was decent - just everyone was given rubbish lines. I have to congratulate the editing team for the 'Next Time' preview as, although I thought episode 1 was weak, I am tempted to watch episode 2.

I liked the sound of the series at first but I'm not going to watch somebody who acts like a piece of wood.

That's put me right off this.

In case anyone didn't realise it's supposed to be OTT and ridiculous. It'd quite clearly not supposed to be a realistic portrayal of life at a university. Larger than life is what they're aiming for....i think anyway!!

Okay, so not the hats but I went to Oxford and our dinning halls were very Hogwarts style, and you had to wear gowns (otherwise known as sub fusc) to Formal Hall (posh dinner).

We don't know, and won't know until if and when there's a next series probably.... though why the existence of a social club is somehow fatally important is beyond me!
All that stuff about Charlotte Arc trying to abolish it and having to be kidnapped to stop it happening... is just ridiculous! I love that Trinity is a totally fatuous pile of dross - makes it great to watch, I love it!

I have it on good authority, that the more outlandish stuff about toRAB is true, including the top hats. In fact when my OH was at Cambridge, there was a load of pratts walking around carrying teddies, e la Brideshead.

Alas the secret society stuff is piffle.

I thought it was so bad that it was good, but it was very very very bad.
