Trinity - ITV2

Trying to understand why you put that in spoilers - is it because you are ashamed of the last sentence? :D

BTW I loved Trinity after a rocky start; I even warmed to the two stoners (a bit) in the last episode.

aaaaaaahhhhh thats just head wrecking that is - does anyone know if they got a second series ??

might just rank this one with the brin secret from gavin and stacy ...( what happend on the weekend away)

does anyone remember years ago on sabrina the teenage witch and they had the family secret that went on for months !!! - i was glued to it - never guessed that one at all

Yes, it may be drama, but as with many drama's on the TV based in the real world, there has to be some credibility to the story or it becomes fntasy of whatever genre does it for you.

I though it was the biggest load of codswallop I've seen on ITV for a long time, nd christ there has been some shte on.

- No resemblance to any University in the UK, no matter how posh/special it thinks it it
- Ridiculous stereotypes - rich kids, god-squad, geeks, up and coming black kid, dotty Dons....

Made Hex on Sky One look good.

Bring back Porterhouse Blue, puhlese !

or 'A Very Perculiar Practice', as a off-the-all Uni based drama.

If people think this is representative of Universities in the UK, no wonder the Spiteful Hateful Jealousy of NuLabour is destroying UK Higher Education with crazy ill-judged social engineering

I don't get the ITV obsession with putting this bloke in their crap shows  He's pretty and has a nice body....is that the reason?

I suspect he could be a good actor if he was given a script that wasn't turgid for once though.

EDIT: Just seen he's in Gervais new film, arguably things are looking up for him then script wise.

Ooooh, I hope there'll be another series of this! I didn't watch it when it was shown initially (saw 5 mins of an episode in the middle and it looked silly to me then. I thought it was going to be some dumb attempt at being Trinity Cambridge and it 'aint quite like that!!), but I watched the catch up, and watching it every night in a row gets you so hooked! Also, I love the sinisterness of the intrigue and in fact find that quite honestly interesting so it transended it's mere guilty-silly-pleasure at least teensily. My initial reservations are irrelevant now. In any case - it's what you need after a long day to escape and I hope there will be another series. They should run everything like this in sequence as whatever the quality you become a lot more hooked when you watch several episodes of something in close succession :D:D:D;)

That's the point......it's not supposed to be realistic. it's supposed to be cliched and stereotypical.....that's the joke........

I can't wait for this too start tonight. I have also had my early morning fix of Christian Cooke with the gay spy picture special of him. :)

:D The scum bags of the Bullington club.

If I see "NULabour" again, I'll just hit ignore. Political? I think not.

Actually those privillaged kids are like that. But of course, you having no experience of oxbridge are correct.

There is a great story about George Osborne *spits* about how much hideous treatment he put up with to be a member of one of those societies as they considered him a dreadful oik c***.

"Spiteful Hateful" Read Tories.

But it is piffle. Funny as hell, but piffle.

Erm, afraid not. No joke, not very funny. Piffle, yes, tedious, yes however.

I think Ch4 need to drag Porterhouse Blue out of the archive, as a case study in how to do this sort of thing.

I can't quite see Trinity reaching it's International Emmy and 2 x BAFTA winning stature.

BBC2 archive too, with A Very Perculiar Practice too, as I also mentioned earlier.

Note to Moviepook, it's Bullingdon Club, not Bullington. Amongt it's less desirable members (Boris Jonon, Alan Clarke), I note David Dimbleby is also a former member !
