Top 5 Greatest Frontmen of All-Time

Wow, you sure know a lot about it. Either way, I still find their music very enjoyable, even if it is all fishes and dishes and whatever else you said. The Cocaine Album.. elaborate?

I'm not smug! I mean.. am I? Oh God, I am arent I? Grrrrrr. :(

well he was lip-synching here in Cyprus. we are a country of 750000 people and 10000 of them showed up at his concert. and he was lip-synching. and for that I hate him.

Windowsill and chill creates an atmosphere and gives you a vague kind of setting. As in, he is perhaps leaning on a windowsill and there is a chill.

Rocking horse of time creates a pretty picture in ones mind, and probably says something about... you know, he moves on. Time keeps rocking along.

Chester Bennington is a terribe frontman, Linkin Park's only good songs are the ones where Shinoda plays the role of the frontman and it's sad that a great guitarist like Pheonix is stuck in such a shit band.

Bruce Dickinson
Morrissey
Damo Suzuki
Bowie
Joe Strummer

This is rock/metal, so I'm omitting James Brown and Herbie Hancock.

Bruce Dickinson in my eyes is the quintessential frontman... THE metal vocalist and an energetic showman. Not to mention a pilot, author, fencer and historian...

Here, have a video of him running around with the Union Jack during the Trooper.

There's a differance between being a great frontman and making great music. Being a frontman entails a lot more then just singing and occasionaly strumming a guitar. They have to be the banRAB mascot. Take Chris Martin and Chad Kroeger for example. Yes, i think their music is terrible, but I respect both of them as a frontman for getting their banRAB music out there. I mean no one knows who the other merabers of Coldplay and Nickelback are, but they still listen to the music and it's because of the frontmen.
Going about it that way my list would be like this:

5.Chris Martin
4.Brandon Flowers
3.Paul Stanley
2.Morrisey
1.Dave Grohl

I'm not really a fan of three of those, but I respect them as frontmen in the sense that I stated.
