Top 5 Greatest Frontmen of All-Time

He's not more understandable than Kurt Cobain. I was able to work out almost the entire Nevermind album without lyric site apart from 1 song I got a little stuck on. For the most part Kurt is easy to understand.

oo, easy one:

1. Todd Smith (Polkadot Cadaver, Dog Fashion Disco, Knives Out!, The Alter Boys, and El Creepo!)
2. Mike Patton (Tomahawk, Mr. Bungle, Faith No More, Fantomas, Peeping Tom, etc.)
3. Rody Walker (Protest the Hero)
4. Charles Elliott (Abysmal Dawn)
5. Bruce ****inson (Iron Maiden)

this are not my top 5 but:

I really think Brandon Flowers makes a good frontman. ok he now sports a stupid fur, but he gives some great performances and he always get's the crowd going, especially when the perform "All this things that I've done" and "When you were young"

Also Morrissey is great. haven't exactly seen a whole concert, but from what I've seen from him performing on tv and from the video of "That's how people grow up" his fans worship him.

Axl Rose was great with the original GN'R, and I don't think anybody can argue with that. Now he looks like a 1994 Dexter Holland.

Steven Tyler is also pretty cool when on stage, even though I don't really like Aerosmith.

As for the best ever, in my opinion Robert Plant. He was in a league of his own. Now he looks like an old-man in tight jeans, but he still has some of that flair.

The worst: David Coverdale...I've seen Whitesnake live last month (I had free tickets:o:), and that old-full is actually lip-synching.

While watching footage of the Doors cant help thinkin most front men are prertty lame by comparison.Tom Meeghan of Kasabian gives it bita welly but most of em cant work a crowd that well.

^Haha pretty much

Fanboyism aside, if people are going to attack the people on my list for getting the crowd 'riled' or what not then Thom is the LAST person from my list you should be attacking.

I believe you were also talking about Thom Yorke.

Dac, frontman does not mean singer, the jobs are different. The frontman's goal is to get the crowd riled, which is why people like Iggy Pop and James Brown are great frontmen.
