Well, it's taken a while but I finally have enough votes. It's time to countdown rabroad's Top 50 Animated Movies. I think that the list is great. It has a lot of variety and seems very representative of rabroad. Because all of the members who sent me lists seemed to have vastly different opinions, there are many obscure movies that made the list as well as classics and soon-to-be classics. I received lists from 22 members including myself. So I give a special thanks to:
Spideyfan914

Here is how I work these threads. The movie that someone puts in first place receives 20 points and 20th place would receive one point. In order for a movie to make the list, they have to have at least 21 points. Meaning that each movie needs to appear on more than one list in order to make the countdown. Without further ado, we shall begin!
First off, the movies that received enough points to qualify but still didn't make it:
Lupin III: The Castle of Caligostro
Lilo & Stitch
And now, the countdown!
#50 Pokemon Movie: 2000
I would put Mewtwo Strikes Back above it, but this is easily the second best Pokemon movie for me. I always loved the Legendary Birds and the movie did a great job with them.
#49 The Triplets of Belleville
I haven't seen this one, but I've heard stellar things about it. And I absolutely love the animation. I believe that I caught a small portion of it while channel surfing one day and thinking that it looked like an excellent piece of animation.
#48 The Polar Express
I'm thrilled that this movie made the list. I'm love Christmas and this movie did something extremely rare for modern Christmas movies: It captured the true spirit of Christmas. It means a lot to me because when I was starting to lose some Christmas spirit, it reminded me of the magic.
#47 Mulan
Here is a really underrated Disney movie. It had great characters, my favorite was Mushu voiced by Eddie Murphy. The animation was excellent and had stunning visuals. It has been a while since I've seen it and I really want to again.
I'll be posting 4 a day until the Top 10 where I will post one at a time. Enjoy!
