Would be an interesting bumper if they did that. I personally wouldn't mind any kind of message about his passing if they tried (they had done one for Iwao Takamoto, though he was an animator/character designer at Hanna-Barbera on familiar shows like Scooby-Doo).
A show like Crayon Shinchan could easily be made after his death if the writers of said show continue to be able to turn out new adventures and scenarios week after week (hasn't stopped Doraemon).
