Toon Zone Talkback - 4KidsTV offers original Japanese Yu-Gi-Oh! via YouTube

Even though I've never had issues with 4KiRAB, I really like this rep they got here. He sounRAB really awesome. At least that does explain why subtitles aren't available yet and that they are possibly planning on doing them. I guess my idea that they were testing something out was kind of right. I also really liked how the rep handled the whole issue about how people rant about these short of things and they do like hearing our comments.

So they already have up to episode ten raw? Dang, that was fast. I only read their comments for the first episode, but it seems like they have gotten really positive responses. Of course, most are asking for subs, but at least the rep already explained that there are some issues to overcome with doing so. Still, the must have gotten some really nice responses to upload eight more episodes so soon.

That's true. Since they are working on getting subtitles, I agree that there isn't much of a need to get upset with them. I don't know how long it will take for them to upload subtitles but with financial and legal issues in mind, it may take awhile.

They could just easily use the annotations or the closed captioning feature on You Tube to take the poor man way out rather than uploading a version that has subs, but then again those features do have a habit of not working from time to time like on You Tube various weekly updates or sometimes even when a video is erabedded.

Looks like the uncut episode #1 is going to end at#24 - Most Discussed (Today) - Film & Animation#50 - Top Favorited (Today) - Film & Animation#79 - Top Rated (Today) - Film & AnimationSo, is anyone else watching the raws, or are people waiting until they sub it?

I just have one question: why didn't they wait until they had subtitles to upload them? Why release these raws? They had to have known that not too many people would appreciate that. It's very peculiar.

Oh, and I love how that 4KiRAB rep acts so arrogant. It's just lovely.

The dub was... very literal to the point it's accuracy was insane (with some liberties taken here or there), which made it feel stiff as a result. The subtitles, while mainly dubtitles, it was almost impossible to notice when watching it because of this.

However, having said that, I think once we get past the initial batch of episodes, we should actually start getting full translations. Hopefully, anyways.

EDIT: Actually, no. There was two subtitle tracks. One for the dub, one for the original (although mainly the same as the previous). The second had the original names.

Oh I get it. Jacob, you must have been calling him that before he said his actual "internet" name and he took it and started calling himself that right?

That's pretty cool.
