I've been on a bit of Hanks' marathon lately...I've watched Turner & Hooch, Sleepless in Seattle, You've Got Mail, Forrest Gump.......he's just so amazing in everything he does!
Welcome here, darling! I heard Tom Hanks loves Toy Story so I'm happy there's going to be a third one!
Thanks. I grew up with those kinds of sweet romances and I miss them so very much. They are SO classic, you're right! Oh, I need to watch that comparison. They really are. :sigh:
Haha, I know! When he threw the sock at it and the coke came out. Good times.
They were showing Big today so I watched. Amazing acting from Tom. When he's in the hotel room for the first time and he hears those guys shouting outside, he sits on the chair and look so scared, really like any 13-year-old alone would look like. Amazing.
I think I like both almost equally, with a bit of leaning more towards his dramas, as well. He's just so cute in his comedies, and since he started out in comedy with his show and all the others he'd appeared on, he just took his comedic talent to the big-screen. But when he showed he could do drama, he didn't hold back - he was amazing! :thud: Though, if you look at his comedy, there's moments where you can tell he'd make a great dramatic actor as well. I also like the movies that bridge both the comedic and dramatic moments. Let's face it, you really can't go wrong when it comes to him.
I like those you listed. And I'd have to add The Green Mile as well. And for a mixture of both, The Terminal.
Ray, I'm glad to see you also liked The Terminal. I thought Tom's performance was very endearing. I think they handled the entire movie taking place in an airport really well too.
