Whenever it gets to this part of the film, as well as the earlier "I'm King Of The World" bit with Fabrizio, I think that surely that part of the ship would be totally off limits to passengers ???!!!
I can't imagine that even in 1912 this would have been seen as something people could do on ships.
If not, why make such stuff up ?
Also, I don't know why they had to make up characters and scenes in a film about the life and death of so many real people who were living real lives.
The film makers must have contacted various families of those who survived and those who didn't, so they must have had access to enough information to have based everything on a real person.
Having said that I would be very interested to know what Rose did next......
Did she make contact again with her mother or did she leave the old bag thinking her daughter was dead ?
Did she trace Jack's family and tell them how he died ?
How long did it take her to deal with her grief and feel able to move on ?
I think it would make a pretty good book.
