Titanic.

Maybe they made an announcement about brief nudity before the film?

"Gentlemen, we are proud to announce that you will have the briefest of opportunities to see one of Kate Winslets paps."

Thank you. So when the captain said before they were going from Ireland they must of already done those two stops. Its such a shame the ship never got to New York :(.

I will concede that the effects were good.

I just can't get out of my head the nauseatingly inevitable swoons of hordes of 12 year old girls every time Leonardo Di Caprio came on screen. I think half the reason it got the box office takings it did is them little f**kas watching it 10 times each. Sorry I'm ranting again, traumatic experience you know.

Not sure, I've always assumed that the last Rose's mother saw of her was as she was lowered into a life boat leaving Rose on deck.

When Rose gives her name as "Rose Dawson" to the guy with the passenger list, I'm guessing that no one knows she is alive and that her mother believes her to have drowned in the sinking.

I think it would be an interesting book to hear what she did next - as long as it was written by someone who is familiar with the period and not after a deal with Hollywood :)

Please tell me you are not being serious?!

I too cannot believe this film is almost ten years old! I was 15 when it came out and I can clearly remember chattering with my frienRAB about it on the way to school! Its freaky how fast time flies.

Im sure it was on earlier this year. Unusual for a film to be shown twice in the space of a few months.

It would have been even more useful if the ship hadn't been sailing too fast for the known conditions . They knew there was ice in the area and should have slowed down, if it had happened on the M4 it would have been called Motorway Madness. :D

Or if the Californian hadn't ignored the Titanic's distress rockets they saw.

Then, we could have had a happy ending! :)

Almost as bad as the (terrible) school production of Anne Frank that my step-father had to sit through because he was a governer.

When the Germans came in someone shouted "they're in the attic" because they just wanted to get out of the play! Very wrong, but I still find it amusing :o

True maybe, but getting all heavy (sorry) isn't it doing a disservice to the vast amounts of people who died to revolve the film around two people in order to get the box office draw...

Can't stand Aliens, fair enough.

Maybe you can see that it wasn't purely designed to make as much cash as humanly possible it being an 18 rated film (and equivalent in America) for instance. Whereas Titanic is just commercial dross just about managing a 12 rating I believe, with hype about some titties so people might go see it. See what I mean? That's why I hate it.

But if you enjoy it then it's only a film lol! Enjoy please!

BTW I've never been called a good authority before..

Oh my god I am in tears :(. That was so sad. I am glad Rose got back with Jack when she died in her sleep.

She did have that necklace after all. Why did she throw it in the sea???.
