Yes I have seen Myserious Skin an astouningly moving film and incredible performance from Joseph Gordon Levit.
The scene you mention (along with several others in the film) was horific and like you say very hard to get out of your system.
It seems a tad tactless to point score about which rape scene was worse.
What I will say is that both of these scenes (tie6 and Mysterious skin)left me shaken to my core, as they bloody well should have done. Seeing any portrayal of someone being violated is always a deeply uncomfortable experiance.
The Mysterious Skin rape scene and TIE86 scene are very different I would say equally graphic but more so what they have in common is they highlight how much rape is about power and degredation.
Both Greg Araki and Shane Meadows did their job well but I have no desire to watch either scene ever again.
