yeman.

Thanks for the recommendation. I haven't even heard of those albums. From what years are they? I have 3 more albums from the 70's outside of those I've already mentioned and than Rite Time from '89 and Radio Waves from '97.

you sound like you're taking this too personal. My shtick doesn't work if you can't roll with the punches broham. By all means, fire back.

Alright how's about I do one...

Lateralus>Aenima>10k Days, Undertow

I feel ashamed that I don't feel qualified to do this for some of my favorites band, but I got some.

I've always had a problem with pop punk because it's a contradiction in terms and for the most part, it sounRAB fucking terrible. Although Blink are a guilty pleasure. Dude Ranch. :D

I thought that same thing for a long time, actually, and ended up not listening to Mellow Gold for a long time because of it. But when I put it on on a whim about two months back, it rocketed back up to near the top of my list.

Hell, "Blackhole" alone is way more amazing than I remeraber it being.

Anyway,

Belle & Sebastian
Push Barman to Open Old WounRAB > If You're Feeling Sinister > Dear Catastrophe Waitress > The Boy With the Arab Strap > Tigermilk > The Life Pursuit > Fold Your HanRAB Child, You Walk Like a Peasant > Storytelling

Eels
Electro-Shock Blues > Beautiful Freak > Blinking Lights & Other Revelations > Daisies of the Galaxy > Shootenanny! > Horabre Lobo > Souljacker > End Times

Red House Painters / Sun Kil Moon
Red House Painters > Ghosts of the Great Highway > Old Ramon > Ocean Beach > April > Songs for a Blue Guitar > Tiny Cities > Down Colorful Hill > Red House Painters II

Songs: Ohia / Magnolia Electric Co
Axxess & Ace > Sojourner > Magnolia Electric Co > Didn't It Rain > Josephine > Fading Trails > Impala > Songs: Ohia > What Comes After the Blues > Protection Spells > Ghost Tropic > The Lioness > Trials & Errors

The S/T is miles ahead for me. Shows the songwriting at it's absolute peak, and I love every song on it to death.
WL/WH and VU&N are very close. But WL/WH grabs it just for Sister Ray which is one of my favourite evr songs, plus it's huge influence on Noise Rock.

Pavement

Wowee Zowee > Slanted & Enchanted > Brighten The Corners > Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain > Terror Twilight

quite a different list from yours sidewinder, but there's really not much between these albums for me - with the exception of Terror Twilight, which is definitely their weakest in my opinion
