Production Order: Season 1, Episode 8

Writer: Aisha Muharrar
Director: Dwayne Carey-Hill

A new episode airs tonight at 12AM Eastern. Here is the synopsis:

Okay, so it's halfway through the episode...and I'm still posting after midnight.

"Welcome back to our fans."
"I'm missing the whole A-story."
"Pass her as quickly as you can. Nobody wants a two-parter."
"What do you do when Der Kommisar's in town?"

Also, Miracle in her student outfits = teh sex.

I'm still miffed about the time slot, but hey, it's back on the air!

Agreed, Sedanimal rocks. And at first i thought they were going to do another 'Reeses' mixup thing, but I like the twist they did. I also like the gag with Andrew in art class, just painting a bowl of fruit, eh.:p

I hope the next epsiode focuses less on Miracle and Larry, since he already got a smooch from her.

I'm glad this hsows back, and I htought Iwas going to be the only one posting.

This show is definitely a prime example of a series that was written off way too early because its pilot sucked.

Each episode is improving drastically, it's a shame because the series will probably remain very little seen especially in its new time slot with next to no promotion but whatever it's back and we get to see the remaining episodes.

I hope a DVD release comes eventually.

Was that, and "I'm like Knight Rider, except I'm still on the air....barely" both intentional lines? If they were permitted to keep spending money on the show even after it was certified dead, I'm wondering what episode 13 is going to be like. Something like the last "Excel Saga," I'm thinking.

Missed it. (facepalm)

Actually, I didn't even know there was a thread for this, so I can pay attention on what time it starts.

Saturdays at midnight, huh? I think I can make it to those airings.

Does Fox really think they can pull an Adult Swim, air cartoons at midnight and call goal? Such amateurs. They should just get rid of Til Death and reair SDSH on Sunday evenings

But Sit Down, Shut Up bombed on Sunday evenings, which is why FOX canceled the series in the 1st place.

Saturdays at Midnight is pretty much a graveyard time slot, and it's obvious that FOX is mostly airing SDSU there to fill the void left by the cancellation of MADtv, but I think that fans should be grateful that FOX is airing the remaining episodes at all.

SDSU actually got higher ratings than King of the Hill got in its original timeslot but those still weren't good enough for Fox. I don't see why they couldn't let the show continue airing in its original timeslot until it completed its season.

It's on Hulu. This episode was brilliant. Seriously, I can't believe how much I enjoyed it.

Favorite Parts
-Stuart breaking into his own office.
-Miracle "getting her sins forgiven" with all of those priests ("It's a girl!")
-Ennis making love with the windshield wipers
-Miracle in all of those student outfits = :D
-Did anyone notice that one of the students actually spoke? ("My name is Toby Fatshmuck, you know that!")
-"WHOOP DE DOO!"
-Larry busted for making out with Miracle
-Sezno accidently opening the blinds revealing Ennis in the windsheild
-Grabby Gardner, Barebottom Banker, and the Flashing Field Reporter ("THERE! SEE ANYTHING YOU LIKE?! Yeah, how 'bout that?") :D:D
-"SEDANIMAL!!"
-Miracle is 8 months older than Larry? Eeeww. :ack:
-Willard was the Whoop de Doo kid? ("You were a kid??")
-"I've never made out with a Transformer before!"
-So Larry rose the flag so Miracle could stay as his student? Heh.
-"SUE-DANIMAL!!!" :p

I loved this episode, it's a shame FOX won't give this show a chance. I'm with CaptainHero, this show was written off way too early just because of the pilot and each episode is a drastic improvment. I hope there are more episodes like this.

9/10

I can't think of any series that had a pilot that represented what the series would eventually become. This show has a very frenzied, fast paced and hilarious vibe that I think threw a lot of people off and instead of saying "Maybe this series isn't for me or maybe I should watch more and form an opinion" everyone immediately says it sucked and was a disaster.

From all the cancellation jokes in this episode, it sounds like they were working on these episodes knowing they were canned, a bit sad. Here's hoping Adult Swim gets the rights to the reruns and people discover how clever this series is.

Overall, I enjoyed the episode. I was surprised Miracle and Larry got together so quickly when I figured it would drag on with the hints (well, on his side) for a bit. The fact that they broke up was expected, though any further hook-ups may not as captivate. Then again, considering the series was already canceled, it may not matter.

I didn't care much for the subplot with that teacher (his name escapes me at the moment) and his car incident. For some reason, I found it so...ridiculous.

It was supposed to be ridiculous, it was fun and both the A and B plot tied together nicely in the end. It's nice to see an adult animated series actually try and be a cartoon sometimes rather than mirror realistic events. The whole 'Sedanimal' plotline to show that.
