The legend of Dunk Mask - Basquash! Talkback (Spoilers)

Heard something interesting about that, actually:

Which is a good thing since I thought that part of the episode was a tad too ridiculous...I mean what kept the ball from rolling around while they were moving? Anyway, I liked 5 since it was a departure from the fanservice and set us up for some great street basketball. Nice to see Sela, Iceman and Dan can get along well in a game.

There already is a manga. It's been running in Shonen Ace since March. And the publisher of Shonen Ace, Kadokawa Shoten, is listed as one of the show's producers at the end of the OP along with Satelight, Dentsu and Media Factory.

Man is Dan ever going to get a dunk in?

On the plus side, I'm glad the plot is moving forward and now we know who the character with the cap is in the OP song. Didn't think they would go the "gender-switch" route but it works considering the princess' seiyuu.

(He named Haruka's breasts!?)

Well I think it's more the case that she named her own and he knew the names because they were in a previous relationship; and it makes alot of scenes that she would name them, after all if they're individually bigger than your own head you wouldn't have much of a choice.

What did I just type?

I was wondering why this series was called Basquash!. Although I am surprised it took this long to name the sport. You think after a year they would have named it already.

Hahaha that me LOL.

Good gravy. "Chaste Bianca and determined Kate." A Taming of the Shrew reference....a Shakespeare reference. Using HER BREASTS.

Seriously, mind blown.

Episode 7 was awesome and if you weren't hooked on the show before, this ep WILL hook you. The OP seemed to be underwhelming at first, but when they used the full version as an insert in this ep, it proved to be quite awesome.

LOL Every time Iceman was throwing Destroy balls to Dan they were actually passes. Hilarious
It nice to see some of Iceman past not to mention finding out his glasses are like Spanky. So there some kind of god buried under the earth. Interesting. Perhaps the series true villain?

^^Above says it all.

-YEAH! Kugimiya got to sing this episode! This just got even higher in my "awesome anime" book. Also, Iceman's glasses-snakes are cool.

-Not just singing, not just playing basketball but both at the same time!

-Heh heh,
Ranka X Alto (Macross)=Citron X Iceman
and Nagi X Jin (Kannagi)=Rouge X Dan

Had to bump this one up...Basquash is getting amazing again. 14 was probably one of the best episodes so far.

New opening and it's actually not an Eclipse song. It's far more rock than pop, so I think I'll like it more than "No Limit". There's still quite a few placeholder visuals, so like last time we should expect some updating to be done. With the new visuals quite a few new things pop up, like some new characters joining with Dan, and a couple of other things which end up being revealed later in the episode.

Iceman's had a robotic/prosthetic arm of some sort the entire time, apparently having been cut off with by a sword. Really? We couldn't know about this sooner? Well, I immediately thought of the hot springs episode and it hit me that while he went into the hot springs we never got a look at his left arm at all, and it's always been concealed prior. I just think it's odd that none of the other characters noticed either. Something tells me we should have known sooner!

Anyway, the showdown was climactic, though the mid-match shoe switching was a little ridiculous. Sela getting the final dunk was fitting enough, given what enRAB up happening. Yeah, if her dad was killed as a result of their win, this is gonna haunt her big time.

Slash......can't wait for Dan to give him a thorough asskicking....or maybe just beat him in a Basquash game.
Next episode: BANG ZOOM, STRAIGHT TO THE MOON! (Note: not the actual episode title, but you get the point.)

Nike for sure. I could care less if Pizza Hut was edited out of Code Geass's dub. As long as the NBA, Funimation, and Nike make a deal with the comapnies involved in Basquash's production, I can see a deal similar to what happened with Eyeshield 21.

Um no. Not to be mean but why should I? I've never heard of the show and even though I've watched a couple of anime shows, I don't see everything that comes from the Land of the Rising Sun.

Sore Kake Girl had some major Pizza Hut advertising in it. That's what he's referring to.

Of course, it also had major advertising for just about all its sponsors. There's quite a few GooRABmile logos in it.
