The DS Eurovision Thread (Part 8)

I've received 5 sets of votes already :eek:

It's a really mixed bag, with songs getting 12pts from some, then nul from others - and the upshot of this is that it's quite tight at the top, with the current leader on 30pts, 2nd place on 29pts - fairly low points from a possible 60 available so far... There are a few songs picking up regular mid table scores and 3 songs still with nothing!

Wondering what I'm blithering on about? Returning forum member or a lurker? Well, now's your time to decide what you think would have been a perfect song for Eurovision had the earth turned on different axis.

Nope afraid not! Everyone elses votes were counted correctly. I now what happened with Chickens 10 points now. While I was doing my final count I only counted 97 for Lena despite there being 107 in the total box... confused I deducted the 10 points off thinking I'd made a mistake. What had actually happened was I'd added chickens 10 points, but must have got distracted and didn't write his name next to the 10 point mark! Silly me! :o:D
 
True, but if you will write an extreme version of the songs you're satirizing, it shouldn't be surprising that the end result is not especially pleasant to listen to.
 
Ah, so I can see who beat me to my 1st choice now! Along with that one, there are another 5 artists there that I had on my shortlist so they should score well but there are new songs for me just waiting to take their places! Artists not represented that I considered were Andrea Demirovic, Marija Serifovic and Anzej Dezan. I think I'll find voting in this one quite easy.
 
Who wants to take part in my next contest - a celebration of Ukrainian contests where we'll vote... then I'll change my mind and tell you all to vote again ;):D

Maybe its mine. Its not really fanmous, but the performance is bloody amazing, and the occasion and everything. Its pure magic (not biased at all of course)
 
Anne should host a eurovision party and invite us all! Then we can root through all her old tapes... she's bound to have it somewhere ;)

Perhaps I'll try and get in touch with Richard O'Brian.... I've got a feeling it would be worth it haha! :D
