I thought that it would be good, but I didn't know that it would be one of the best duels in the series thus far. That makes things far more interesting. I'm sorry that you missed it, but I'm sure that 4KiRAB will have it on their website sometime this week.
As for me, I really enjoyed this episode. I thought that the meeting between Yusei and Akiza was really intense. It seems like Akiza has a lot of rage inside of her because of her mark. I think that she looked a bit sad when Luna showed up, but maybe that had to do with Luna's mark too. I really did feel bad for Akiza when she was holding her arm and asking why she deserved this mark.
It was nice that Yusei wanted to understand where Akiza comes from before dueling her. I liked how Yusei wanted to bring all of the known Signers, even Jack, together so that they wouldn't be used. I was really happy when Yusei put in his Stardust Dragon in his deck. I know that he wanted to save that card for his duel against Jack and I don't blame him for that. But after seeing her two previous duels, I think that he needed some extra strength in his deck. As for Akiza, I think that it's really interesting how the group that she's a part of and Goodwin's group are enemies, yet she is a Signer. I had a feeling that the metal rod in her hair helps contain her powers. I was still confused as to why she wanted that mask, but that made more sense as the duel continued.
Dang, is the crowd just full of mean and insensitive people or what? Outside of Yusei's frienRAB, they were all calling Akiza names like witch and cheater. That's just mean. First they were being rude to Yusei and now to Akiza. It just still amazes me. I thought that the duel started off pretty calmly. A little too calm, but that changed fairly quickly. Akiza was really good with getting those tokens on Yusei's side of the field. I was surprised that she got to summon a strong monster so easily though. Even though Yusei just lost a hundred life points at first, the effect of that attack was like a seriously strong gust of wind. Still, the crowd was mean with calling her a witch and a cheater. I'm still not sure how her powers make her a cheater though. Sure, she has some psychic powers and somehow her carRAB come alive, but I'm not sure if that really counts as cheating.
Seeing Yusei getting attack by her monster's vines like that was really intense, especially how it just grabbed parts of him until he was above the ground. I have to admit that Akiza's smiling and how she enjoyed his pain was kind of creepy. I can understand why she would want to give others the same kind of pain that she has gone through all her life, but I agreed with Yusei on how it doesn't solve much of anything. I thought that it was nice how Yusei said he wanted to help her and be her friend, even after her monster threw him on the ground. He does seem to be a nice and caring kind of guy and hopefully he'll be able to help her.
Overall, a really good episode with a great start to the duel. I enjoyed learning more about Akiza and Yusei's interactions with her. I'm really looking foreword to seeing the new episode next week. It would be so cool to see Yusei's Stardust Dragon going up against Akiza's Black Rose Dragon. Man, that would be so awesome.
