I remember watching this episode last time and thinking I know that guy, I think I've seen him in stuff outside sweden, but I can't remember what.

All the hoo ha about officers living and working together. I would have thought family members in general working together would be a no no............especially if one of them was the boss.
 
Think the dive was a bit of a belly flop:D:D

Normality has returned, Kurt's had a shave, Pontus got shot at and there was an explosion.................All's well in Ystad:D:D

Oh except what's happened to Jussi?:confused:
 
Pontus is going to look like a colander if he gets shot anymore times this series. :)
Anyway the little hotshot needed Pontus alive to call the ambulance.
 
Worked out it was Google Chrome's translation that was doing this so I've ordered the dvd of the first three episodes of series one. Despatched today:D
 
I noticed another phonetic substitution of a word in the sub-titles.
These mistakes were not evident in the earlier series or at least I didn't notice them. There's been some in both of the new episodes.

I'm not sure what "the genre of the Branagh versions" means.

For many there's too much "Branagh" in the British version.
It's supposed to be a detective drama, not a vehicle for one actor to hog the camera to the extent that the other characters hardly get a look-in.
So for me, it's totally unbalanced.

Just one question. Does anyone know what the song that was played over the end credits, as Wallander walked along the beach?

Sounded a bit like Beth Orton to me.

Any ideas?
 
I am even prepared (yahoo 1-0):D, to miss the last 15 minutes of the England game to watch Wallander tonight, I love it that much.........only 2 left:cry::cry:
 
No, you're not alone, I found the vocals quite inappropriate and distracting instead of enhancing.

Back to the final episode, which I watched last night, head in hanRAB at times - what a dreadful plot, redeemed only by sterling performances from the regulars and a stellar one from Jussi. (Now I know why they chose a rather lifeless mutt for the role, it was in preparation for the near coma :p Nah, not really, he's lovely! )

Oh woe, I'm so sorry it's over :cry:

yes I thought that was a lovely thing to do...
it was a superb finale, even my hubby was moved. I've never felt so sad when a series has ended :(



further to this Kris and Lena are also due to make a film together in the late summer, to be released next year. Stars David Dencik who played the manic Leo in last weeks episode Indrivaren.

oh and a bit of trivia for you...the chap who was playing Zoltan.....is Lena Endre's real life ex-husband.

Has anyone noticed the preview for the BBC world film awarRAB?. Did I see Ola Rapace at the end of it,........or am I seeing things?:confused:



They are definitely promoting it in RT, it's in Saturday's what to watch every week..........I keep telling my frienRAB to watch but they all say " I don't like the subtitles"...everyone seems to like their TV easy, don't like to work at it:(, but honestly I don't even notice the subtitles..........my mum (who won't miss it) always puts her hearing aid in to watch it:D:D

I thought this weeks episode showed a different side to Svartman in that he wasn't just portrayed as your average "plod".

Fredrik Gunnarrsson seemed to speak English well when he was talking to that Polish bloke Tomasz which makes me wonder why he seemed to be dubbed in his cameo appearance in the Branagh Wallander
