SURPRISE SURPRISE Study finds that organic food has no benefit

So we're more healthy because of better medicine, and that proves that organic food is better?

Misses point of environment impact.........CHECK
Doesn't study long-term effects.............CHECK
Doesn't factor in chemical exposure........CHECK

Not to mention they just reviewed other people's studies and did none of their own.

Review comes out citing all studies on health benefits of organic food. OT police claim to know about health benefits of organic food than those writing the review of the field who have read infinitely more scientific papers on the topic.

Classic OT.

It's political regardless of who conducted it. I don't give two squirts of piss how much methane is emitted from the meat industry.

And that has NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING, to do with health, which is what we're discussing.

Come back when you can actually manage to post something relevant.

The emission of green house gasses has absolutely no adverse health effects. None.

And it has everything to do with health when cattle feces end up in streams and rivers and create dead zones like the one in the Gulf from the Mississippi river.

Fucking loser.

The threat title does not specify health, do you not understand that?

What's fucking maddening is that you guys constantly allow each other to get away with the same shit you call me out on. It's nothing but sandbox type rules where if you do not agree with the collective then you're an outcast and treated as such.

I always thought Organic was more about not using pesticides than any added nutrients.

So can you guys point to studies demonstrating the long-term health benefits of organic foods?

That is absolutely correct. GHGs are not aerosols.

This has nothing to do with "organic" vs "inorganic" farming.

Again, you are not posting anything that suggests that "organic" foods are healthier. Don't start getting mad. It's not my fault you suck at this.

If you think Lance or anyone in cycling is clean....you're in for a rude awakening some day.

Besides, the testing they do was (worse than now) and is shit (slightly better in the past 2 years). The levels you're allowed to get by with are insane. You only get caught if you're Floyd Landis level retarded.

Am I the only one who is still shaking my head at the retards in the first page who pointed out that the review on the studies of organic farming missed the point because the studies themselves were poorly done and didn't address long term health affects/environmental impacts... Which caused the retards to conclude that organic farming has long term health benefits and is good for the environment.

Not sure how to make that post more clear, but you get the point. It was sad.

It is, but there are many loopholes and about 10 different standards that all conflict with each other on pesticides and fertilizers and whatnot.

If I had to guess, organic foods would be worse for the environment since it would take more land to grow the same amount of food. Have any studies showing that it is better for the environment?
