How about you not tell me how to do my freaking job!
Re: Point #1, that's a matter of opinion also depends on what you have watched because dubs have been improving since the late 90's. Also, the Japanese actors aren't infallible. There are some cases where the actors have acted very poorly. This, however, might not be apparent if you have no knowledge of Japanese.
Re: Point #2, that point doesn't really occur in the American market or at least I have never seen that done.. The names are either left alone which almost always occurs for anime that are sold to the fan market or changed to a more American name so which usually occurs for anime sold to the childrens market. The latter, however, does not occur anymore since demand for anime like that no longer exists and a lot of companies have either changed their strategies from that or were pushed out of the market and sometimes went out of business.
Re: Point #3, what kind of reasoning is that? Besides, have you even seen the dub for One Piece? It is one atrocious catastrophe. The story was horrible butchered and spliced, scenes and elements were edited and changed for ridiculous reasons and turned out ridiculous results, and the voice actors, though sometimes appropriate for the role, executed their roles poorly. That should have been your point. However, the target market (children) wised up and realized that it was a heaping pile of garbage. Low ratings led to the halting for production for more episodes which I think was for the better. In a few years, the ownership of the license will hopefully switch hands to a more competent company and release One Piece unedited and properly translated in all its glory.
Re: Point #4, translating, production, and recording all take time and money. You cannot expect for the company in charge to crank them out so quickly. If they do it too quickly, quality might be compromised. In addition, you have to realize that it was almost three years after Naruto started airing in Japan before it started here in the United States. And being that Naruto airs almost weekly year round, it is impossible for Cartoon Network to catch up unless it temporarily goes on hiatus but judging by the fact that the studio decided to create filler episodes instead when the anime caught up with the manga, that is not happening.
Case in point, you lose! NEXT!!!
This is why I try to stay out of these arguments and hate them with a passions. For goodness sakes, it's your own God damn opinion!
