When things change, they change in a very slow period. For an example, this healthcare thing was a long time coming..it just happened to be Obama when it got signed. If it wasn't him, it would have been someone else.
Usually change is implemented in a way the public doesn't even really actively notice beyond the first initial OMG when it's all brand new and in your face in the media. The healthcare panic shit has already died down immensely, and people are on to the whole Arizona immigration and this new Obama financial overhaul thing. It just shows how little anyone really gives a fuck beyond pissing and moaning. They just for some reason enjoy being stressed out, and having no trust in a government that has been doing just fine for quite a long fucking time overall.
Everyone flips the fuck out when it's announced and the media and fear mongers are making their rounds, but when that hype dies off, everyone goes to the next thing to flip out about that's IN YOUR FACE for the next week/month on the news stations, and during that process they are adapting to the slow change that was implemented previously, and will continue to do so.
Or instead of freaking out about every new thing, and doubting everything, and stressing the fuck out, you can just go with the flow and live your life.
