So happy that Slumdog won so much Oscars ! It is written =) ♥
Anyway , this movie is really one of the best that i've never seen! I saw it twice , and i want to watch it again and again ! xD

I agree : Slumdog Millionaire gathers all the ingredients for a good movie : suspense, love story , great actors , good soundtrack , humor ... etc :P

The soundtrack really is awesome! I dislike the jai ho remix with the pussycat dolls though :X

 Don't know.. I'm in Portugal :x
What about you? :P

I was never a big fan of Bollywood movies or similar.. but SM.. :thud:

Yeah it's amazing how the story was essentially about 3 people but you saw the progression of a whole country as well! And I thought they handled the heavy material very well- not weighing it down on the audience, but giving it a vibrancy that was realistic.

Some people say it was predictable but I went into the movie knowing the whole story but was still interested the whole time!

I can't honestly say that I am pulling for Slumdog Millionaire to walk away with the golden statue, but if it does in fact happen, I wouldn't think about complaining for one second.

Great movie I just watched it last night. Very well done and very good story. I now see what all the hype was about.

Great film and great soundtrack too

I am so glad it won 7...thats right :) 7 awards. I though the movie was fabulous. It definitely gave people awareness of what goes on in India (I for example had no idea) & yet it is a great film. It makes you cry, makes you want to dance, makes you smile. Its like the perfect movie.

Ah it was amazing ! My sister went to see it before me, but she didn't prepare me for how great it was going to be ! Danny Boyle is a master. The camerawork was fantastic, it really reminded me of City of God (Great film) and it had such vibrancy. Fantastic use of the 'Who wants to be a millionaire' format. I think I might have to go see it again lol !

And I am definately getting the soundtrack, I really think Danny Boyle has a way with combining music with film e.g Trainspotting and 28 Days later.

Loved it.

This is my favourite film of the moment. I think it's got a bit of everything (and good old Dev from Skins)

I liked Dev's performance too. He didn't overdo it, and I can't stand over-acting. The actress was gorgeous.

I loved this movie. It sort of reminded me of a feel-good version of "City of God" which is one of my favorite movies of all time.

And the child actors were phenomenal.

SO EFFING PERFECT!!! :thud:

I think I can say now! And the actors performance was awesome

OMG! This movie is one of the best I've ever seen in a really really long time. It was so poignant and uplifting at the same time. It showed how bad the slums in India were while still keeping it within the context of the dramatic and romantic struggle. Plus it was a combination of many film genres that were beautifully intertwined with each other. :thud:
I thought all the actors were great and did a wonderful job! And even though the same-character actors never interacted, I felt a strong connection among them.
This movie deserves all the praise it's getting and much more!
