"Shrek Forever After" Pre-Release Discussion (Spoilers)

The point of the story was that if a movie does well enough, it can spawn an entire franchise even if it was never meant to do so. :shrug:

And now that the parent company has a new cash cow (Panda), they can lay the old one to rest.
 
It's all about the benjamins, Proving once again that Dreamworks are the biggest hypocrites in the animation industry. It's almost as if they suddenly tried a 2D animated feature after claiming that 3D is the 'wave of the future, baby', though i'm not holding my breath for that one even though it would be funny if that actually happened. :p
 
Does that poster remind anyone else of the poster for The Santa Clause 3 (which, like the upcoming Shrek film, focused on what would happen if something important to the main character never happened)? Not a good sign for this film IMO.
