Israel occupied their country to 18 fucking years! They were found to be "indirectly responsible" for the massacres of Sabra and Shatilla and to this day they still occupy the Sheba farms. You are truly a joke if you think Israel has been a good civil neighbor to Lebanon.

For Syria and Lebanon to have peace with Israel, Israel would have to be a smoldering hole in the ground.

Since that will never happen, Plan B: carpet bomb the true aggressors, and call it a day

Certainly. Because Arabs are indoctrinated from birth through textbooks, religious leaders, television documentaries, etc. to hate Jews and Israel. Go check out a Lebanese textbook if you disagree. They believe Jews drink the blood of Arab children in their pastries and are part of a vast conspriacy to take over the world and murder every Muslim. They are also taught that the ultimate glory is to die a martyr for Islam, killing as many Jews as possible in the process. Moreso, they have no job or anything remotely productive to do with their time, so shooting at missiles for Israel and blaming the Jews for their problems seems to take care of that gap.

Do you honestly think they said "oh shit, 50 civillians, lets take them out because that would be good for our cause."



Israel isn't stupid, and taking out those civillians, children in fact, looks terrible for their cause and it does nothing for them strategically. It was a mistake pure and simple. Now if you show me that every day they do this regularly, then I would agree that they are just trying to get rid of Arabs.
 
No, just like the world doesn't condemn the Untied States if Afghani civilians died during our bombing there, those in the world community who have even the slightest understanding of the situation clearly can see Israel does not target civiliasn. In fact, Israel goes far more out of its way to avoid civilian casualties than the United States or any past army in history for that matter ever has.

Hezbollah on the other openly admit to TARGETTING civilians. Their weapons aer purposely aimed at the most densely populated Israeli cities possible, avoiding military targets and focusing on homes, schools, etc. The fact that less Israelis have died is simply a function of Hezbollahs less deadly weapons and the fact that Israelis are sleeping in bomb shelters, while Hezbollah purposely puts its civilians in harms way.
 
Im not defending their point of view. Both sides are wrong. However, Hezbollah's actions are because of Israeli actions. Israel is wrong for their crimes and Hezbollah is equally wrong.

Its you that only sees one side of the coin. If you had an ounce of fairness, you would condemn the killing of innocents by Israel.
