Judgment Day will happen before we no longer need electricians, plurabers, carpenters, mechanics, machinists, and other skilled trades.

Engineers and scientists are all but useless without the skilled tradesmen to make their designs reality.

I'm not arguing that we don't need skilled tradesmen, I'm arguing that we need more engineers and scientists. Less and less people are getting into the sciences, and more and more people are getting into trade jobs.

Exactly, and the SCIENTIFIC COMMUNITY agrees that creationism has no place in any science classroom anywhere in the world.

If you don't want to teach science in the science classroom, then call the class "shit the teacher just wants to say".

Whether that's true or not has no bearing. My point was religious leaders in the US haven't written policy detrimentally affecting me based on their stance on evolution. Nor does believing in creationism negatively affect any of the people I know who do in fact believe it. Therefore, I don't really give a fuck what someone chooses to believe in and I fail to see why you do.
