Seriously 'mericuh? Get it the fuck together! v.evolution

You understand that in SCIENCE CLASSES you're supposed to teach SCIENCE, right?

Evolution: A Theory that has been rigorously tested and analyzed over and over. New supporting evidence becomes present every year. Follows the SCIENTIFIC METHOD.

Creationism: In a book written 2000 years ago. Not a theory. Not tested or analyzed. Does NOT follow the scientific method. No new evidence has ever been presented.
 
Just because you don't have a child in Texas doesn't mean you're not negatively affected by Rick Perry wanting to rewrite science books for Texas schoolchildren.
 
They want it to be defined as "man and woman"



Again, I don't have a problem with communities wanting to teach their children various points of view.



I'm not going to quibble over the definition of 'point of view'
 
Yet again, science is not a matter of popular opinion.

I mean, if they insist on this stuff being taught in school, science class is NOT the place for it.
