Scariest film, ever!!

Has anyone ever seen "The Telephone Box"?

It's a Spanish film from the mid 70's. Original title "La Cabina".

It was last on TV about 15 years ago, I think.

That was a scary film! It's just as well most people have mobiles nowadays because if you saw it you'd never want to go in a telephone box again!

Yeah - I felt the same too of Event Horizon. Sort of reminded me of Dead Calm (not just because Sam Neal's in both). Talking of cracking films, I thought Jacob's Ladder had one of the best twist-in-the-tail's ever. As for scary films again, still think the original Alien is a cracker (that scene with Dallas in the pipes is a chiller) and the original Freddy film - you can't even escape from the nightmare through sleep!.....

I was amazed to see that the famous *Heres Johnny* line was in fact an ab lib  and not part of the script.

Apart from The Blair Witch Project. ( I hated it) and the RIng which I haven't seen I think for once they have got the top 10 right.

And I still want to hide behind the sofa when I hear the Dr Who music:(

I saw this...I think it was longer ago than 15 years when I saw it. I think it was on C4 when it very first started (Late at night). I have never seen it since. Would love to see it again though. I reckon that I'd probably find it more amusing now and a lot less scary.

The Changeling

Amityville Horror

1st Nightmare on Elm Street

I go more for phsycogical horror now but cant think of anything right now! - possible Jacobs Ladder

Good news for you then....!!!!

"Silent Hill is on its way to the silver screen, publisher Konami announced. Producer Samuel Hadida and Davis Films have picked up the rights to the popular horror adventure series and signed director Christophe Gans, of Brotherhood of the Wolf and Crying Freeman. The film is due for worldwide release in 2005."

I remember playing this a long time ago and I still bare the psychological scars. I have faith in Gans, as I love his films, not to turn this into a resident evil type disaster.
