Not a fan of Brand at all, he's made a career out of being Captain Jack Sparrow, but I agree with this. Ross' behaviour over the Sachs thing was disgraceful, whereas Brand was just silly.

I've seen plenty of interviews with him. I'm not watching him for the first time in this interview like a lot of people are.

As the Sachs incident was pre-recorded and could have been removed by the production team or the BBC at anytime before broadcast I don't hold Brand to blame for anything other than what he admits - it was a rude thoughtless thing to do.
The fact that there were only 2 complaints after the broadcast until the Daily Mail morons started hearing about it says it all really.

So you should know then that he is always hyper compared to other people.
Not on the same level all the time , but if you've seen his performances you can see how animated he gets when he gets into talking about something .
It's very rare that any tv interview will be a 20 minute face to face with no interruption so Brand was the same way he usually is on stage once he gets going.

I have previously seen him interviewed but he's never appeared quite so erratic as he did on Newsnight. He was rambling quite incoherently IMO.
Prior to that I watched him present Big Brother's Big Mouth (before he hit the big time) and he was utterly disgusting and that is one reason why I stopped watching that particular show!

Wow this is kind of weird, I was just thinking he is so suited to radio and was something I looked forward to each week his show on radio 2 and then this new about his new talksport show. Thanks so much for informing me about it cause I probably would of never of know about it. Hope Matt is back too with him, or did they fall out, I seemed to remember they maybe did, dunno. Noel is back though cause he too is great on radio.

Some people are clearly too stupid to even remember what they posted further up the page before doing exactly the same as they are whining about .
Just listened to the show on the talksport website with listen again uncut version, great to hear Matt back and he's as great as ever and keeping Russell grounded.
Two criticisms
One, Far too much mentions of his past conquests, he's obsessed even more now than he ever was about going on about, almost like now he is a one woman man he think 50% of his comic material about his sex life has gone so he keeps having to bring up how great a puller he was. Now yeah OK we get it, you had women flocking, it's boring now though, stop going on about it, we all know you are God's gift to women. It's an old joke. Apart from that he's great I think and it's good to have him back.
Two, far to loud, it is done with a live audience and Russell is just shouting all the time, , ditch the audience I wish but I don't think the will as I think it's some sort of tour, it would be much better in a studio without Russell going over the top to act up for the crowd, he's much better when he's a little less full on and just sat around with Matt and the production team around the studio.
