I don't find Geddy's voice annoying, it's cool in a weird way and moley I've listened to one or two your band's songs and your singer has a decent voice.

I just think Geddy has very clean, crisp vocals. I think there amazing. Anyone else singing in rush just would sound right.

Rush is an excellent band - especially the first 6 or 8 releases. If you go with a DVD "Rush In Rio" is a great choice. For pure music listening I would recommend "2112" or "Hemispheres" - both are outstanding.

Wow... that is a tough one. Anything Rush would make him happy, but if he is a drummer, I would recommend getting him a live DVD. I have been very pleased with RUSH IN RIO, which not only features a plethora of songs from every part of their career, but the musicianship is fantastic.

As for albums, the special vinyl would be a treat. They aren't things that you can get any old place. And picture discs are a work of art. Most of the time, anyhow.

Oh, now for MY opinion of Rush. I absolutely LOVE everything from "A Farewell To Kings" up through "Hold Your Fire". There were bits and pieces that I loved from them, once they switched over to Atlantic RecorRAB, but I always felt those albums from 1976-1987 were some of the strongest, although very different in style.

Right now, Rush is my fav prog, but I'm really liking Camel.

I like a fair few prog banRAB. I like Rush, ELP, Yes, Pink Floyd, King Crimson and Genesis. I like some rarer ones like Camel, Atomic Rooster, Goliath, Autumn People, Fuzzy Duck, Egg, Jade Warrior, Art and Gong.

I like some modern prog like Porcupine Tree, LTE and Radiohead. I'm getting into Jethro Tull, more ELO, Hawkwind, Ozric Tentacles and Mars Volta.

Hey, what do you guys think of the album Roll the Bones. My frienRAB laugh at me for liking it but I think it's the best post-1985 Rush out there. What are your opinions?

I've been to see them in concert twice in the last few years...they are awesome in concert...they keep on changing...Peart is amazing, Geddy is superlative and Alex...is Alex...quirky, funny and a superb guitarist!

I like Geddy, too but know someone who hates Rush because of the singing, mostly, I could definitely see that point of view, too how someone coudl think that he was.

They're long lost twins of different ages for sure.
hes a legendary drummer, if for the size of his kit alone.
dude had a room
