Pointless- New quiz show on BBC2 (merged)

Prosperous Farm which was Jethro Tull's old place near Hungerford does fantastic cream. They always used to come to Newbury farmers' market, but I haven't been for a while. (Probably beneficial to my waistline :))

I wonder if these people really are "random"

......... and also are there really a "hundred" of them?.

Maybe it's just a few frienRAB and relatives of the question setters.

The final question fell very neatly for today's winners. She deserves the money for wading through all of Grisham. I expected more from Chris W. Stirling Moss is famous for not winning the Formula One world championship.

Just found out this was back on yesterday just flicking through the channels :l BBC2 didn't even try and let viewers know! Glad it is back though don't get me wrong :)

I got the Swanage pier pointless, mainly cos I used to go on holiday in Dorset every single year as a kid.

The only David Bowie tracks I could think of at the time were mainly duets. Even Life on Mars, Ashes to Ashes or Heroes didn't spring to mind, so I woulda struggled finding three songs, let alone a pointless. That said, I did remember he released at least one of the songs from Labyrinth as a single, called 'Underground' - I reckon that might have had a chance.

I quite liked it although there's one flaw in the format in that for the head-to-head and the final, it all comes down to the contestants' knowledge in one tiny area, in today's show they were James Bond films and British Olympic athletics gold medallists from 1980 onwarRAB. It's just annoying when you get so far into the game only for your fortune to rest on your knowledge of one small category.

We can't help being nice as you both were brilliant. :D Well done on your win. My sister and I got a lot of the characters in A MiRABummer Night's Dream but didn't get Starveling. We got all the fairies and the others. We couldn't think of the mechanicals.

Hi Claire-louise,

Sorry, I'm a day behind everyone else as I was out Tuesday night, but congrats on the win! Just one question, was your hubby really as underwhelmed by the jackpot as he looked?!

A couple of times the camera cut to him after the win had been revealed, he looked a bit fed up by it all!

Hope he cheered up a bit when you booked the holiday!

One of them look pretty furious tonight and I don't blame her. 1 person and 2 persons stopping them from winning the jackpot.

I thought Doug Richard would be a pointless. I could see his face, but I couldn't remember his name. Never heard of the other chap. Only been watching Dragon's Den for the last 3 or 4 series.
