OTA For Nexus One Enables Multi Touch

I believe so, as he said it only updates the stock files. Cyan will have all that out soon. There is an update from xda with the new radio and mt, I'll see if I can find it and get you a link.

Hopefully it will be included

*EDIT* : Considering that this is my first Android device and my first OTA update... how are you notified of the update being available for you and how long does it usually take Google to start pushing these out?!

Once cyanogenmod matures a little I'll be rooting and installing it. It's really a wonder, as slow as Google moves, that they got this out already. I always have my trusty G1 if I need tethering.

So can anyone actually Completely enlighten me about the RAM thing... Basically our phone has 512, but it doesn't have that much open to it? and Cyan have fixed this? or is there more to it.

Yes, I should refer to your pic in your sig for this question... but I'm to lazy to search for answers. I'm to busy messing with my phone!

Ok so if its similar to the G1 I just rename it like they said above... put it in the main folder on my SD card but what do I press while the phone is starting up?

I'm not responsible for anything, and i recommend having a well charged battery

ok if you have this downloaded onto your phone (the main [root] of the sdcard) name it update.zip not update not update.zip.zip but update.zip

turn off your phone
restart it by holding trackball & power till it comes on
use the volume buttons to navigate to bootloader, then press power
again use the volume buttons to navigate to recovery and press power

once in recovery hold power and pres volume up to get the menu option,
then navigate to apply update.zip and apply... let it finish, and then reboot, voila should be done.
