One Tree Hill - Anyone else loving the new series?

Just bought the S7 dvRAB, and I did not think that the replacements would have been anywhere near as good as they have, and I find myself not missing Peyton and Lucas at all. Alex and Clay in particular have really brightened up the series and it's given the show a new lease of life.
 
im on e4 pace and although OTH is still brilliant and clay,alex and haleys sister are good additions i still miss lucas/peyton

talks underway to get them back for the finale of the show so hopefully that comes to fruition
 
I'm on E4 pace as well, and Monday's episode was absolutley heartbreaking. So moving.

Loving the new additions..Alex especially. Also love how they have turned Victoria around.

Miranda & Grubs are also brilliant new characters. I'm not missing Lucas or Peyton at all!
 
whos grubs? the barman? yeh hes cool enough,OTH always has good new recurring characters though,thats nothing new

yeh i like how brooke/victoria has been mended finnally, but haley james sister is no replacement for peyton overall

i thought skills went to jail in real life for longer? wasnt expecting him back so soon lol

the song at the end of this weeks episode,its been used before on OTH hasnt it? on jimmys funeral perhaps?
 
I thought that too! But America always has a mind season break, which doesn't happen over here so it looks like he wasn't off screen for that long. But could of been a few months. I'm surprised he was allowed back after going to jail.

I didn't recognize the song but you could may well be right.

I think Quinn is the hottest girl they have had so far (I'm a straight female by the way!)

I want more Rachel, love that character.
 
Yep, I agree. I've always thought that Brooke was the most interesting character, far more interesting than Peyton.

BTW, I'd recorded last night's episode and had to fast-forward through the bit where Nathan and Jamie were dressed up like members of Kiss and jamming together. Sorry, but that was painful to watch!
 
Basically no Im not enjoying OTH anymore at all :( it used to be my favourite show but now I can hardly be bothered to watch it, I dont like many of the new characters, Julian is about the only one I dont mind & I miss Lucas & Peyton. If I hadnt watched for so long I would give it up but now its nearly finished I feel I should watch till the end & hope it enRAB decently
 
Have to agree with you there. I think the most annoying thing is the way they script him, as if he's some kind of innately insightful mini-philosopher. The stuff he comes out with! :eek::rolleyes:
 
The Sheryl Crow song "I Shall Believe" playing near the end is actually not the first time it has been used in a dramatic sequence on One Tree Hill. It was also used on episode 14 of season one with that particular episode sharing the same title as the song

I've grown to really like Jamie; I thought he was so irritating in Season 5. But the thing that got to me, especially watching the most recent episode, is that he's only SEVEN!:eek: I mean he's funnier, more emotionally stable, nicer, understanding and mature than me and I am so much older than him! Also, he's gone through so much and yet he's not even in double digits yet!
 
Like someone said before, he is scripted to be the perfect child! I don't think there are many 7 year olRAB out there with such a mature insight to life! I bet Jackson (the actor) hasn't got a clue what he is talking about half the time! He is a cutie though. I hope if they have another kid, its a right brat...:D
