If the OmniaHD had keys, I'd buy both. I can't use a touchscreen only device, I'd have fits.

Black and no I did the standard which means it will arrive on Friday according to FedEx.
I will never ever, ever, ever, ever, buy anything that has a non-removable battery.
Very first qualification! The ipod, iphone don't even exist for me at all.
Unless the battery lasts for atleast 2 weeks on heavy use using multiple equipment nseries features (doesn't exist) a non-removable battery is totally and completely NEXXXXXXXXTTTTTTTT!!

If Iphone can get that new invention called litroenergy installed in their phone from glowpaint.com to replace the battery so that it never ever needs charging then I will consider it,...maybe, otherwise you gotta be joking me.

Non-removable battery is the biggest joke of all time!!
I only make like 12 bucks an hour, 17 something at overtime and you (Apple) want me to seriously consider a phone,....for that matter any portable electronic device, with a non-removal battery?
What stupid person thought to engineer that stupid battery idea into the Iphone?

That's how I feel about non-removable batteries in a portable device.
There is no future for a phone with a non-removable battery unless it is being constantly charged by a new invention such as litroenergy.
That is the very first thing you have to consider in the design (removable battery) and if you don't your product is doomed IMO.

Hacking S40, it sounds like an oxymoron.
This makes me cry. I hate the keyboard on the N810 enough that this is a deal breaker for me and this gives me little hope for the quality of the keyboard on the next Maemo device. It blows my mind that Nokia can make one of the best mobile keyboards in the E71 and then put out such crap as the N810 thumb board.

Let's see here, you think the N97 will have any more problems than the iPhone 2g or 3g when outside ATT's miniscule 3g area? A quick google search turns up a thread or two but nothing really substantive. A quick test here while streaming BBC world service over edge shows the call goes through.
It's a cell phone, not all calls go through anyways. You have poor coverage, there's no free voice channels, etc, etc That's why you have voicemail. So really, is this a real problem?

I've been trying to get VPN working on S60 for ages. I can state for a fact that if you have a Cisco VPN setup, you're out of luck with S60. I can state that based on what I've read, the ONLY VPN solution that seems to work with S60 is the Nokia VPN solution, which is used by one company... Nokia.

Actually OPK's english and presence is getting much smoother which may translate to USA carrier partnerships. Also its the first time I've seen him laugh which is good he has a personality beyond a strong business CEO presence.
