Have you try install some game emulators like vbag and try playing games on it? Please share your gaming experience.

Oh, if you're a comic/manga reader; have you tried using touch comic on the N97? If you did how was the experience?

Another real bummer to me with the N97 is that Nokia removed the built in SIP. I use that a lot with my N95...I suppose that's in deference to contracting with Skype..but who knows
 
I think he said it more so in reference to the type of gaming, i mean dont get the n97 if you want a psp experience guess, for me the games that ngage has and the little java ones are more than enough lol. :buddies:
 
Y'know you guys will just be getting it after me and everybody else who will just order the Euro spec version and rock 1900 3G frequencies? LOL.

If the NAM version does something better than the Euro version or has different specs (like the N95-3 vs N95-1), I'll sell it and get the NAM but I want this thing ASAP.

By the way, what features was that Reuters guy talking about? 8MP camera? Who cares, if you want a camera, go buy a camera. I want a kick *** phone
 
These days newer phones comes every 2-3 months so the price drop is insanely high within a short period of time.

Look at the N96. 1st release around Sept. 08, people paid around $900-1000. Then it dropped to about $700-800 after people came to their senses after the first month. 3-4 months later, it stay around $600-700. Now, about 5-6 months later Amazon has it for around $500

I would assume the same for the N97. Once something just a little better or new but similar comes out, the price drop like crap. :goodness:
 
How do you figure? Because the camera has face detection? What is innovative about it? You guys throw that word around way too much. They are not gonna reinvent the wheel with every phone. Most of your criticisms are aimed in entirely the wrong places. Go out and find the phone that you like the most, if it's not the N97 then more power to you but while all of you lament over what the phone doesn't have, exactly what were you looking for? 12MP camera? 4" touchscreen? Lasers? The device is what it is, the first time I saw it, I said that's my next phone and that was before I read any of the specs. If you want a finest cutting edge technology, Dell is selling Adamo laptops for 2 stacks
 
I was in love with my E90 but went Blackberry and sold "the beast". I always said if they made a NAM E90 I'd jump on it immediately. Now with the N97 coming out I will be all over that instead. I'm already building my PayPal account up with this in mind.
 
It doesn't need to be Handy, but location or time based widgets would rock.

That may be but i'm currently using a bold (624mhz) and the 8900 (512mhz).
The one annoyance is whenever it accesses the memory card i have to wait until it loads.



And it does mean fail, especially since e52, e55, 5630 x press music will be receiving a 600mhz arm 11 processor.
