*OFFICIAL THREAD: Nokia N97

They could give you crap changing your address. Most sites won't even let you use a different shipping and billing address for fear of fraud like you found someone's credit card and want the phone shipped to your own address.

Slick is the best IM client for 5800 atm. The little notification in top right corner is great. It also uses the least amount of data for updating buddy list and sending/receiving messages. The alert tone is discreet and not annoying, either. Fring is the worst on all of these areas.

I really like the way Nimbuzz works though. If Nimbuzz could let me edit away messages, and have popup notifications, it would be better than Slick. But until then, Slick wins.

Was in NY the past week and got to play with a demo unit at the flagship store.

-Build quality was good, felt solid, slider felt good
-Much faster then the tube in terms of navigating menus, music player
-Really liked the physical qwerty

Weird thing is the keyboard didnt light up so it was hard to type effectively. Hopefully this gets fixed for the launch.

I can live with that. I hate having menus that need more than a page to display so I'm constantly moving icons from one folder to another in order to keep them all under 12

Well right now we can only assume that it's not right? I don't think I've even seen the N97 playing video and today was the first time I even saw a screenshot of the music player.
