*OFFICIAL THREAD: Nokia N97

actually. I don't even need to hold my finger there after i highlight. Just highlight and let go and BAM! Can't do it on an actual web said though :(

Nice, they have basically emulated iPhone swipe vs. tap behavior. I hate to say it as if that behavior belongs to the iPhone, but they were the first to do it.

Now it seems they've addressed some interface issues. I wonder why they even made the 5800. I guess it was for 2 quarters of easy revenue.

These KB comments worry me. I think I've decided to hold off on the N97 purchase altogether. Once I get to test one out thoroughly(and iPhone 3.0 is announced), then I'll decide.

I was pissed at the spacebar placement too, and it really does seem annoying. Why should I have to relearn it for just one phone!

Retails for 550 euros, but then (at least in canada), the import shops get it and charge a massive premium. The N95-1 started off at $1,200 in Vancouver. Price drops happened fairly often and quickly though

I wish I could say that I started, but first I need a job :(

@Uxi: Shop around and you can get the 16GB microSD for pretty cheap. I paid top $$ right when they came out. Waiting on 32GB, but the technology to create it was just recently figured out so it may be a few months.

Here is what I will definitely install first:
* Gravity
* Energy Profiler
* Sports Tracker
* Putty
* Audible player
* Podcast OPML file
* Ton of music
* Ton of episodes of West Wing
