Hmm..that's interesting. I was browsing the Nokiausa site yesterday and a chat pop up appeared-usually I close it but I figured what the heck I'll ask for the ETA of the 97. I got almost the identical response word for word. Could be that is corporate mumbo jumbo huh?
 
I'm sure the OS will be hacked, but replacement hardware? Absolutely not.

Not only has it never been done before, but as it's been posted, it would be ridiculously hard to do. That, and all of the hardcore Nokia fanboys are not going to complain enough about it running too slowly because it's going to function "adequately".

Jonty, you can copy and paste in text boxes in the browser but not text that you're reading. You can copy URLs tho
 
Dont think a launch event is occuring, hes just talking about the last one they had about a year ago. Good little event. Going down that road was a bit scary in those golf carts!
 
How are iPod Touch sales compared to previous iPod sales? Or even compared to iPhone sales? I know there are a lot of people who wouldn't use an iPhone but would buy an iPod Touch (I might be one of them even lol) but I'm curious in whether sales were affected much
 
So North America isn't considered part of earth by Nokia anymore?

So should we be waiting for an announcement for the phone to be released to the "new world"? What's the Nokia terminology for North America now?
 
Has anyone noticed Nokia Messaging wreaking havoc on their PC based email? Ever since I installed NM, my yahoo mailbox on my PC has been acting funny. It will not load some of the new messages bc it cannot download it from the server, and I will delete messages and then empty the trash, but then next time I log in, all my deleted messages are back in the inbox. This is enough for me to go to a paid mail client!
 
^ new iphone specs show 256MB ram. i read rumors from adand that it may launch with 512. 512 is speculation, but it would be sweet.
 
You think that I am joyed that it has a few MHz less then the competition? No, Will I complain in every other post about it? Do I know the possibilities of having the extra 128 megs of ram and some more clock power. Of course I do. If it runs 3/4 of the speed of my E71, which is loaded with apps and full to the brim, I (and many of us) will be happy.

I dont need a dedicated graphics card, If I really needed to satisfy my gaming needs, I have a psp and a ps3. If I really needed to take 8 and 12 MP pictures, I would just get a dslr. You can only expect so much from these 8 and 12.1 mp phones.
