so it looks like the n97 also does not have letters on the dial pad. so if you want to call 1-800-FLOWERS you are screwed. there's no way to do this on the 5800 unless you memorize the letters. lets face it, if you're out on the go thats gonna be IMPOSSIBLE. i've noticiced on n97 videos that this is also missing. maybe they enabled the qwerty keyboard somehow, but this isnt the most elegant solution if you are using the n97 as a PHONE. and since they totally forgot it on the 5800, they may very well have totally forgotten it on the n97 as well.
sometimes i call my bank and i have to enter the month letters in question. last month i had to pay a speeding ticket from another state, and the ONLY way was using the phone system and they wanted everything entered with letters on your dial pad. everyone gets on my case about this, but all these examples are very valid.
