Gotta the love BB sensor lock or whatever they call it. Autolock works but it can be a pain. You have to set it for a time and hope that in between that time you dont hit the call button or any other buttons on accident. I have mine on 10 seconds but to avoid that but then it always locks in the middle of me doing something. :doh:
Just give me a one button solution already!!
 
does the box say e71-1 on the side? i thought that the e71-1 was 900/2100. i ordered an e71-3 because that one is supposed to be 850/2100 3g. its sitting in fedex depot now and i am waiting for a call to see if i can pick it up
 
sounds like the registration issue.

I had it on one SD card, changed to another and that started up, until I remembered to change my registration on the proper unl file.
 
I let it go .. in the anticipation of E71-2 :eek: Now that NAM is no where seen.. thinking of getting it again :doh: Damn Nokia/at&t.. don't delay it any more :disappoin
 
Maybe you have a faulty one? Everyone else is reporting excellent RF. And if your past Nokia's never gave you this problem, I'm thinking you have a faulty E71.
 
Frankly I really don't see how anyone can compete with Apple's ability (in NA at least) to generate hype and excitement even for sub-par products missing basic functionality. The Jobs' RDF seems to be real, is all I can say.

As for the US version, you really don't have a choice.. 1 retailer gets em, then the rest gets em including the Nokia Store..

Sometimes MCO gets em 1st before the Nokia Store gets em..
