Just unboxed my E71-2. Setting it all up. Everything seems fine except my "vibrate" function. I see under Settings--Gen--Personalization--Tones, I have vibrating alert set to ON.
Really hoping that someone gets it next week in retail....going away for the 2nd week of July and would love to bring this device along with me....I'm hoping for a reasonable price. I remember when the E61i was released the price was quite reasonable....For some reason E-series devices have always come out at a decent price vs the N-series....it takes awhile before N-series devices drop to a good price.
Apparently, we're it. Seems like they've taken to relying on passionate users like us to evangelize the brand. I'll bet the official marketing team is sitting on a beach somewhere, sipping a drink with a cute little umbrella in it, saying, "Oh, baby! Life is good!!" We're the only ones sweating the next Nokia release.
Price before rebate: $308
Price after $100 rebate: $208
Must sign up with the rediculous PDA plan $30 a month to qualify for rebate (while Hofo members will choose the Medianet plan and still submit the rebates)
I hear ya. In a perfect world it would be simply, "3G Earth". And where ever you went, you'd have 3G everything. Data, video calls, whatever. :buddies:
I'm wondering if its like on the BB (dial from homescreen On/OFF) it needs to be enabled from the Phone/Contacts app ?? Those on BB will recall dialing from homescreen if ON you cannot use your shortcuts from homescreen.

I'm loving the impressions as well! My dealer will have the fone by friday (-1) and I'm gona go and check it out. Maybe do a Bold comparison as well
I actually find that screen saver (what I showed as a pic of my E62) to be quite useful. Do they have screen saver applications to replace it, or something?
