Sure would be nice if this thing drops soon. Especially if AT&T is involved enough to get their version out the door in short order. (not that I'll likely have the patience to wait!)

I'm going to feel so bad putting that bad boy in a case. It looks nice.
 
I do not have any errors betweem the Exchange server and M4E. It is just that if I leave my desktop on and outlook open, emails come through to my M4E whenever they sync and works with no problems. If I close outlook on my desktop, my emails would not come through to my device. Just wondering if anyone was expriencing this. Also affects my decision on the E71.

Have anybody been able to make Tomtom6 run on the e71?

When I'm trying to install Tomtom v6.02 (TomTom-NAVIGATOR.sis) it states "Cannot install"

Anyone got an advice for me?
 
i'm kinda shocked at the amount of people and attention towards "how fast is the OS/laggy/better than e61i?" i guess many people had those experiences with the e61. but wouldnt everyone assume that its now up to n95 standards in terms of CPU and latest software? he even mentioned it numerous times in the video...i just assumed that anyone in the symbian world knows that later s60 phones can run circles in the speed dept compared to older s60 phones...
 
I am so leaned towards the Curve 8320 ,since it has a better and smaller size than estimated E71.The only thing stopping me is lack of video recording and lack of storage of mails and sms and contacts on SD card.
Me too would have loved the E90, had it been a tad smaller,somewhat like the 9300.
 
What about early adopters? Meaning their gonna have to retire their old iPhones?

If Apple starts taking the old iPhone for discounted price for the new one.. Then I can agree with you.
 
Ok to answer your question..

From the people that played the device such as myself. It has the same OS like the E90 and E51.. S60v3 FP1 now E90 and E51 have BB connect.. So my guess is I think it would still be there.

Sorry I am not a fan of BB so I never looked at this..
 
gwapzI'm not an Iphone lover and will never own one and you make a valid point....but do you think that all those people whom bought an Iphone from AT&T had a HTC device before??? I highly doubt that. A couple of people I know that do have Iphones came from having the Razr and BB....very different phones. Let's face it...the tube and the diamond were introduced out of necessity because both these companies see a real competition in the Iphone...why else would Nokia introduce a touch screen phone? They didn't do it when SE came out with the P800i.
 
I dont hang around this forum to praise the BB and bash S60... I really do like both, but if the Eseries is gonna make serious inroads in the business world, it needs to be able to handle mail as easily as a BB. 60-70% of what I do on my handheld is mail related, about 20-25% is making calls.

When I was backpacking last week, I left my BB in the car and carried my E51. When we hit the tops of ridges, we often found service and I would check my mail, but quickly got frustrated at the mail handling on the E51. I like to use my inbox as a "to do" list and quickly move resolved issue to other folders. By the time I got to my car and BB 5 days later, I had to touch all the mail I had already read.

I also like the way when my BB loses service (we were really in the boonies) as soon as we regained service, no matter how short a period of time, my BB would immediately begin to get mail. As a mail device, you still cant beat it. If Nokia could improve this, I might be tempted to carry the E71 as my daily driver.
