Oblivion Crew...

I've been conjuring a skeleton... throwing flames to kill it.. or using my blade. Did all of this while in an inn room so I can sleep. Easy way to level fast.

Hey mages... tell me how my stats stack up. Usually I seem really fucking powerful, and I love playing my toon. But I just went back to the main quest as a level 16 and was surprised about some of the ass kicking I took.

After you and Baraus set up the meeting with the Magic Dawn or whatever they're called in the sewer... then afterwards you can head out through the Talos District sewer, and there's like 4 or 5 goblins in there, one or two of which are mages. Damn, I couldn't get through. And I hear all these low level people saying they beat the main quest... I'm wondering if they went out that way or turned back like I did.

Anyway,
Lev 16 High Elf Blade Mage
Health: 183
Magic: 266
Fatigue: 244
Strength: 42
Int: 83
Willpower: 102
Agility: 46
Speed: 41
Endurance: 54
Pers: 42
Luck: 50
Blade: 34
Destruction: 75
Conjuration: 74
Light Armor: 33

My magic attacks seem powerful enough, but they drain my magika so damn fast, I have to go to blade, and the charge usually runs out in no time. Anyone know if there's a stat I'm not bumping up that I should be? I hope I didn't spread myself too thin... the guide I went by said the blade mage was a great offensive toon Fuck, even mountain lions are kicking my ass, and that really annoys me.

What's the deal with the Remorah Slaughterfish? They are supposed to be thick in the waters next to Whey(sp?), I've killed 6 but I cannot find any more.

Do I need to wait a certain amount of time for them to respawn or do I need to try elsewhere.

Also do dead bodies ever Fade? There are six slaughterfish corpses floating around in the water!!!! For like 3 game days!!! Not to mention 7 Crabs and two wolves... when to they go away? Is it the same for human bodies?

How are ya'll buying a house in Anvil? I tried to when I talked to the Count and the option didn't even come up. I had to settle for the Cheynadril house.

i just walked into someones house to talk with them. But i wasnt paying attention to the game, and about 30 seconds later a night elf appeared and gave me the note about the thieves guild...then she just vanished.

creepy..since i had no idea where she came from lol

I was starting to wonder if there even were fish in the game. In Morrowind they were fuckin everywhere... now I have a necklace that lets me breathe underwater, so I'm swimming all over the damn place and not seeing a thing.

i did the same thing with this quest... im lvl 11... i can kill three but hen i used all the turpentine... so i had to sneak the rest of the way... i found that if you sneak around the back of the whole map after the body... u drop of a rock and the artist is right there... hopefully that can help you..

You get into the swing of it after awhile. Like me... my main stuff is my sheild (which raises a stat), my magic fortifier (which raises another stat), my summon creature (which raises another stat), my light (another), and my destruction (another)... so when I'm doing that stuff constantly, I'm levelling all the time.

It also helps to jump a lot to raise acrobatics... sneak a lot... etc...

You just gotta use each skill a lot and you'll level quick. Just check your stat bars and see what you need to pump up, then just spam that spell or ability. Are you collecting lots of ingredients from the wilderness and such? You can make a lot of random spells by just collecting a shit ton of random stuff. Also, when you get up to the expert ambelic, and expert mortar and such, you make MUCH better spells.

I know the game can seem a bit boring and tedious when you aren't on a roll. But once you get some momentum going it gets fun as hell.
