Oblivion Crew...

no idea. i had the same problem with getting 10 nirnroots to some guy. he just wont accept them. there was also this chick who wanted me to retrieve some "rockshatter" weapon, but the game glitched on me and now i have 5 and she wont accept it. not really complaining about that though. the weapons enchanted and it's an elven war hammer(i think) so it does good damage plus zero encumberance on all 5 weapons. lol

Ive got about 4.5 hours in, and im a level 3 dark elf "combat mage" Which is a class i made up myself.

For a while, i just wandered about in the forests around the city. Went into a couple dungeons and caves and just wasnt sure what to do.

I like the game so far, but damn, its almost overwhelming and confusing that i really can do anything/go anywhere.

I've been trying to use my bow but it's hard as balls to aim and kill those rats Maybe I just suck. I've been trying to use some blades and war hammers too that I've found to increase other skills

the huts, that's the area. just chill by those shit hole shacks until midnight. took me a bit to find too.

edit: the shack closest the wall, should be a beggar sleeping right near it, hang out there. some fool with a torch should be around if you are there at midnight or later.

If I remember correctly... the final choice of how to set up your character is JUST before you go through the final exit from the sewers. I think thats where everyone was saying to keep a save in case you change your mind.

As for the bow and aiming... ya, that takes some getting used to for sure. In fact, my original plan was to go as a marksman... but I was sucking so bad I decided to go mage instead. Of course, I soon realized that you still have to aim just as much as a mage... so I had to quit sucking quick

Well, shit. I beat the main quest and every guild except the fighters, I'm a journeyman there. I've also beat most of the misc. quests. Still need to do the 14 other daedric quests. At least I just started on the 360 version, though, so I still have to do everything on that one.

anyone doing the thieves guild?

I dont know if the quests are the same, but has anyone completed the first quest for 'Armand', where you have to go up a watchtower and steal some taxes? Everytime I go in, there are 4-8 guards just chillin in there...

where is the mage guild?

I went to the Arcane University and some guy told me to go find the local Leader of the mage guild

Go to a temple and talk to them about your cure. Also, there are more than just four guilds. You just have to look a little harder, they added A LOT since Morrowind.
I love being a vampire, if you feed you can go outside and it doesn't affect you. You just gotta learn how to benefit from it.
