NOKIA E71: needs Chinese language support

The fonts that I included were the native Nokia fonts so it has to be the same but the size are smaller. I managed to change to zoom ratio to between 115 to 120 which are similar in size but thicker. Easier to see on the smaller screen compares to the original fonts.
AC, is there a way for me to set the font size to regular that's not Bold? I want the font to be set to the way it was before. I have set the ZoomRatio down to 85 but the font is still BOLD but now its smaller size. Is there a way to set it to Regular? What are the other settings used for? I don't want to mess with it since I don't really know what I am doing. Thanks.

they release update every Friday. I got mine right on time so I am not sure why your hasn't. Go check again today. Good luck.

i installed font router on mine and i thought it's problem free at first , but now i noticed some songs are displaying weird characters in music player, but if you use the file manager it will show up fine i don't know why that happened, is it because the font i used or something else,please help

just flashed an E71-2 today with APAC-Q (Trad/Simp Chinese/English)
works perfectly

If this is true then that is indeed great news for those of us with E71-2 who would like other languages on their phones.
Just curious... after you flashed your E71-2 with the APAC firmware did you not lose the north american 3G bands? (as some suggested would happen).

nope nokias are similar to SE where you can flash the firmware and not disrupt the band selection.. and IT IS TRUE.. not if it is true =)

i installed fontrouter on my e71 & able to change to custom fonts
font sizing seems to be working by changing the zoom ration but only works on the home screen & menu items eg. installation, settings
when i open up file manager or other programs, the fonts seems to be using zoom ratio 100, max size 40 instead of the values i specific in the fontrouter.ini
anyone able to change all items including apps based on the fontrouter.ini?

To enlarge the font size, open the ini file in FONTS folder and change the value for ZoomRatio=115.
You may open the file on the phone directly by using Y_Browser_088_0_3rdEd.

Can someone upload the font files from the e71-1?
I was curious if I could use fontrouter to use the -1 font files to enable chinese support for a -2. It would be alot easier and safer than reflashing and voiding the warranty.

Anyone know what the previous size of the font was? Default? I love that I can see chinese now, lol. But my clock's font in standby has jaggies now

i have that in my phone right now and every chinese website that i goto works perfectly
it's the matter of font that you choose to use
coz the font i used in the first place works with the chinese website, but it totally screws up the website format
i switch to another font the other day and now it works 100% perfect
