Thanks a lot for the response. I'm going to put those settings in. Yes, when I tried to update the firmware last night using the USB cable with the Nokia software updater, it said I had the latest update.
When the Nokia rep. told me I had to call up AT&T or Time Warner to get those server settings, I had to control myself and calmly say this was Nokia's responsibility since it was Nokia's firmware update and not an update from AT&T or TWC. That was the first time I ever called Nokia customer care. Unless I need a phone repair, it will be the last time I call.
My first impressions of the 5800 are that it is wonderful and extremely intuitive and simple to use. Web browsing via operamini beta 5 is a delight. Videos play very well and display a magnificient picture. The accelerometer or sensor works real well on the 5800, in contrast to my N79, which I had to turn off because it was behaving like someone on steroids.
My 60's rock music played well. I had the volume all the way up on videos and it was just right. It certainly wasn't too loud by any stretch of the imagination.
I read a lot of reviews on Newegg and Amazon before I bought the 5800 and many people had a lot of complaints and problems with the touch screen. I find scrolling and operating the touch phone very simple and easy. I wish the phone was as light as my N79, but then again, there's a lot more real estate here.
Dell never sent the TV cable and stand. But I got all the other accessories, including the 8GB memory card. I have a cable from my N79 though.
