well i have my product code ready to be changed tonight, so i may just go thru and update. by the way, how the hell do you find your product code without looking behind the battery? i thought there was a code that can be entered...
 
Thats funny as i really appreciate the keyboard on the 5800 IMHO WAY better then the iphone keyboard and i can actually knock out an e-mail or text message really well on it.

Web browser had kinetic even before 40. update.So did Opera 10.And I dont think that crashes have a lot to do with this update.Sometimes 3rd party soft is the problem
 
don't really know if that's actually a bug though. since when you put it in mass storage, you can't access it anymore from the phone. and the phone still works perfectly fine (except for the no access to mass part), so i could see why the phone changes to C:. if it were to change back after you unplug, then any messages you got would be hidden in C:.
 
Sad that you even need a manual to use a phone these days. Last time I needed to consult a manual was a Moto V600. That phone was impossible to use without a manual.
 
Good luck finding the pdf reader. Its supposed to be free available in the download folder. But since the ovi store the download folder is empty. And ovi store does not have it. I've been trying to find this app for months for my 5800. Yet other people claim they have gotten it from the download app. Figures.
 
I dunno, these were widescreen formatted and fit the screen perfectly with no black bars on any sides or top of the screen. Looked good enough to me.
 
I agree i lay around the couch watching youtube on the 5800 more than a laptop. On wifi this phone's web browser is particularly fast experience compared to previous phones. Its great and screen res is awesome. I noticed the faster cpu shows page loads and data downloads show the data counter much smoother. I guess verizon fios helps:-)
 
click on the top right, where you would go for wifi, click the connectivity sign (those 2 parallel arrows), then USB. then you can set a default connection and whether you want it to ask or not.
