Ouch, then this show is a victim since its got two cute idol girls! I'm such a sucker for it. I would argue that its not any more a commercial aspect then having giant robots but I believe now that's pointless.
Can anyone else coming up with a reason for hellcat to get into this show when he doesn't like the focus on the power of music and doesn't like the focus on cure idol girls, which seems to me to be the main selling points of the show?
Its like trying to convince someone to watch gundam 00 when they say they don't like mecha anime nor its political focus.
Honestly, there hasn't been too much mecha action in this show. There has been a whole lot of singing and watching the two girls compete over "princess".
