New Inuyasha tv series coming soon...

Somehow I highly doubt that. It doesn't look like they're going to pick up Brotherhood, so what makes you think they'll pick up the new Inuyasha?

An update. The new anime will start where the last one left off at.

Good, that last episode always left a bad taste in my mouth.

There are series with hanging enRAB, and enRAB that hang a series.
I believe Iny's last one, Originally, was the latter.

You and me both. Since Kitty's no longer around, I'd love for a new studio to pick up the animation rights to Ranma and do a new series.

Personally, I wouldn't mind if they actually cut out much of the manga in this case. Most later manga arcs served no overall point in the long run. In fact, one lenghty portion
turned out to be a dream, Dallas style.

If that's the case, I'd like to see them mainly touch the important parts, such as
the arc where Kagura and Hakudoshi both get killed and Sango discovers Kohaku's regained his memory

What makes you think they don't care about Brotherhood? It's not even half over in Japan and most likely little to no dubbing work has been done. It's too early to know about that.

I already assumed it would start where it left off. I've been wanting to see some scenes animated, so this is good. Maybe this might get me back into InuYasha, who knows...

All I wanna see is Sesshy in hell, Naraku's actual death and the finale animated.

Everything else I don't really care about.

And now I've been seeing little blurbs on Twitter about a new Ranma 1/2 anime being confirmed at Otakon. However, I have not seen any official reports or news about this ANYWHERE. Rumor?

if The scifi channel or syfy Gets the New series that would hurt {as} but i have no idea how they would be able to bounce back from the blow.. So one hand you have a network that will get the show and have more filters, like syfy and then on the other hand you will have [as] get and less edit stuff..

So it will be a long two or three years for inuyasha fans like me, I am what you would call a weekend warrior type fan of Inuyasha..

I have a question will {AS} show an inuyasha block to honnor the new series or to catch people up on it..?

As long as it gets dubbed I will be happy, but I too hope that AS grab's this as well as FMA Brotherhood sometime in the future, it would only do their anime lineup some good. I don't read manga much so I have no idea how InuYasha enRAB, so it will be cool to see it played out in the anime format with epic battles and some fun suprises and whatnot.

Well, they are true, but they only refer to the single episode and 5 min Takahashi-verse cross-over special that were produced for the Rumiko Takahashi exhibit last year.

This year's 34th issue of Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine will announce next Wednesday that an Inuyasha Kanketsu-hen (Inuyasha Final Chapter) television adaptation of Rumiko Takahashi's manga has been green-lit. The anime will broadcast on Japan's YTV this fall and cover the story in volumes 36 to 56 of the manga
