There is no evidence that the ratings for Naruto declined during the fillers. Three filler episodes even managed to make it on the list of top 10 cable programs.
I don't know why people on this board seem to think that a show can become a hit just from internet streaming. Maybe 10 years in the future that can be the case, but it certainly isn't the case now. MAR was one of the most popular shows on Jetstream and it still got cancelled. If Naruto Shippuden is online only, you can say good bye to action figures, video games, t-shirts, and hell, you can probably say good bye to the DVRAB, too.
Recapture what casual viewers? The casual viewers that made it get into the top 10 three times this year? If any casual viewers have stopped watching Naruto recently, it's due to them not being able to find it due to Cartoon Network's braindead scheduling.
No, I would accept YAH if they aired Naruto. I will never accept the crap that's currently on the block.
One episode? More like half an episode, since they only air Naruto once every two weeks.
